Trifecta consists of two weekly challenges: one weekday prompt and one weekend prompt.
This weekend, we return to the 33-word prompt, but this time, a 33-word prompt with a twist. Your task, should you choose to accept, is to take a scene that involves (or affects) at least three people. You should then write this scene from the point of view of three of the characters, using 33 words for each character. So for example, if your story involves a mother, a father and a young boy, you will tell the story first from the point of view of the mother (in 33 words), then the same story from the point of view of the father (in 33 words) and finally, from the point of view of the boy (also in 33 words).
Eeeny Meany Miney …Where’s Mo?
Eeeny
Eeeny said
Meany! Miney! Where’s Mo?
Meany and Miney replied
We don’t know.
Go look.
said Eeeny.
Meany and Miney searched high and low..,
So sorry, Eeeny,
said Meany and Miney…
No Mo!
Meany and Miney
Meany heard Eeeny ask him and Miney
Where’s Mo?
Meany kicked Miney they said
We don’t Know
Go Look
Said Eeeny
Who made him boss?
They found Mo, listened,
then told Eeeny
No.
Mo
I’ll show Eeeny, thought Mo
Meany and Miney found him.
He told them his plan
Silly fools agreed
and told Eeeny
Sorry No Mo
Soon Eeeny’s finished,
pointless without Meany Miney and Mo.
Your writing and creative thought just amazes me….Diane
thank you ..I’ll tell ya.. I didn;t catch the whole challenge til after I wrote the first part… so this one was definitely a challenge.. phew..
That is so cute and funny Lizzie. I love it!
thanks.. it popped into my head the first part did anyways.. I am thinking now it would have been cool to do it form the rest of the rhyme..like Mo was out catching the tiger by the tail and didn;t want to share the 50 dollars every day …. lol..oh well 🙂
You can enter 3 times, if you want I think, but this one was good.
once is enough for me … gosh I can write 500 words easier than this 🙂 thanks 🙂
that was cute
thanks.. it;s not all fun and games for Eeny Meany Miney and Mo..there’s a lot of jealousy on the ends
especially if a tiger bit thier toe 😉
exactly!
Delightful! That’ll show Eeeny.
Meany and Miney are just a couple of easily manipulated goofs but they don’t realize that without them Eeeny and Mo are sunk…especially Eeeny cause Mo ..eh he might be able to get another gig but Eeeny is not going to be so lucky. He shouldn’t have been so bossy!
Totally unlike anything else I read here … and so far I’ve read them all. Creative spin on things. 🙂
thanks 🙂
awesomely creative
I like POV 3 the best. That would be me.
nice, and Hi
Hi back 🙂 thanks so much. I did have another version of Meany and Miney that involved Miney sitting on his ass and letting Meany do all the looking but it didn;t quite fit with the conspiracy thing.. 🙂 Meany and Miney are the keys to this little group.. inseparable actually.. 🙂
Very interesting way to approach this. I enjoyed it.
thank you 🙂
Oh wow. My head’s spinning from the eenie, meanie, mineying! Mo! Mo! That was funny!
Oh man! My brainie is spinning in my cranie 😦
if you need an airsick bag please press the button. which one uhhh..eeeny meany miney mo..
… o no!!

😆
This is such a creative response to the prompt. It’s quite different to the other posts we’ve read and I loved what you did with it. Thanks for linking up.
thank you! 🙂
Simply. Brilliant.
Good thing I waited till now to read this. Any earlier might have been disastrous for me. (See my entry for the new word, Thunder, to understand …
